Overview
Due to bentonite’s water absorption capacity and colloidal properties, bentonite is used as binding additives to convert iron ore fines to pallets.
Fine powder helps in to develop good strength pallets. Even at lower additions develops excellent green and dry ball strength. Better binding strength is maintained before and after firing of pallets. High absorption capacity enables to build bond of pallets and prevent caking or clumping.
